season's greetings...

Hello and happy Wednesday!  Rosemary here with one final card using the poinsettia image from the Elegant Christmas stamp set.  As I indicated in last week's post I made this card awhile ago with the intent of post it last week, but got inspired by a photo from a challenge and went in another direction.  So today is finally the day to share this card!

This card was created using two of the poinsettia images that I did not use when I created this slimline card.  I used the same exact color scheme so this card was super simple to put together.  I used the Diagonal Stripes cover plate die to die cut the background from the silver textured cardstock.  The sentiment from the Holiday Scripty Word dies set was also die cut from the same cardstock and the shadow from heavy weight vellum and then adhered together.  I adhered the Diagonal Stripes piece to a white cardstock base and then I layered on the poinsettias and the greeting.  I finished off the card by adding blue faceted gems to the centers of each poinsettia.
