Sympathy Vine

Hi there, it's Tracey here with a very elegant, clean and simple sympathy card using the Swirly Vine diesigns die along with a sentiment from the new Bold Butterflies stamp set.

I blended a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock with two shades of green Distress Oxide inks, splattered the panel with some clean water and set it aside to dry. Once dry I cut the Swirly Vine die from the panel. Another panel was cut using the largest die from the Stitched Rectangle Dot Backdrop set and the 'with sympathy' sentiment from the Bold Butterfly stamp set was stamped on to it. The panel was adhered to the card base with foam tape. Finally I used the new Jillian Vance Design Just Glue It glue pen to add glue to the back of the main stem of the vine and adhered it to the panel leaving some of the leaves and swirls loose for added interest.
