let's SHELLabrate...

Hello and happy summer everyone!  Rosemary here with a summer themed card that I made with the fun Sea Shells and Mermaid Tail and  Anchor's Aweigh die sets and the Shell Yeah! stamp set.

Lots of ink blending on this one.  I started by blending some Salty Ocean distress oxide ink on white cardstock and then die cut it with the wave die from the Anchor's Aweigh die set.  I then die cut another piece of white cardstock with the Minnie Pearl bookmark die and ink blended that piece with Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs distress oxide inks.  The piece with then cut down further with the Minnie Pearl bookmark die to fit the card front better.  I adhered the wave piece to the bookmark piece.  Two shells were die cut from more white cardstock and then lightly inked with Tattered Rose distress oxide ink.   Stamped the sentiment using Catherine Pooler Icing on the Cake and then adhered the two shells to the main piece using Jillian Vance Just Glue It adhesive.   Everything was then adhered to a light blue cardstock base.  Going to add this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of anything goes.
