O Christmas Tree

Happy Wednesday everyone!  Rosemary here sharing a Christmas card that I made with the super cool O Christmas Tree INKboss plate and die set.   With this set you can use the plate to emboss the tree onto cardstock or ink up the plate and use it like a letterpress.  The matching die cuts out the tree perfectly.

A Jillian Vance Design has several different INKboss plates.  I have mainly used them to create a subtle embossed background on my cardstock.  But for today's card I decided that I wanted to try inking up the plate for the letterpress look and I absolutely love it!  I used distress oxide ink in Bundled Sage along with off white cardstock.  Love the soft look this created for my tree.  The little star die is included in the die set and I used that to die cut my little gold star from glitter cardstock.  The sentiment is from the Christmas Blessings stamp set, was stamped and embossed in white on vellum.    The sentiment was die cut with the Sentiment Strips  die set.   All the different cardstock and patterned paper layers were die cut with Stitched Dot Rectangle dies.   Going to add this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of Christmas.
