best wishes...

Hey friends! Rosemary here today on the blog!  Did you see... Jillian has a brand new release called Fun in the Sun and it is jam packed full of fun dies and stamps.  I didn't get some of my new product in time to make something for today's post, but I will have several fun projects to post next week!  Today I'm sharing a slimline wedding card.  I have a niece getting married soon so I have weddings on the brain a little bit, lol!  I just LOVE the Beautiful Butterfly die set and had to use it for my card along with the Slimline Heart Window and Word die set.   I really love how this card turned out!

I dug through my still too large stash of 12x12 papers and found this pretty paper that had a soft yellow, blue, gray and cream color scheme.  I die cut the Slimline Heart Window die from that paper.  The Slimline Stitched Plaid die was cut from some paper that coordinated with the first piece and then adhered to light yellow cardstock that I die cut with the second la rgest die from the Essentials Slimline die set.  I then adhered that piece to my light yellow cardstock base.  I placed the Heart Window die cut on top so I could place the center heart back into the window.  I adhered the heart with Just Glue It adhesive.  I did this because the butterfly is so delicate that it got lost when placed on top of the window with the Stitched Plaid in the background.   The butterfly was die cut from some glitter cardstock that has a hint of yellow to it.  I have a close up picture below of the butterfly.   I used AJVD Studio Essentials 3D foam tape to pop up the Heart Window die cut on the card front.  I added the butterfly using two layers of the 3D foam tape.  The sentiments are from the Have Faith stamp set.  This stamp set is jam packed full of beautiful sentiments that can be used on all kinds of cards!  I found a light blue cardstock and stamped the sentiments using gray ink.  Those were die cut with one of the label dies from the Essentials Slimline die set.  I did have to cut them down a bit more using the label die, but that was super easy.  I popped up the sentiments with two layers of 3D foam, as well.   To finish off the card I die cut the word love from the Slimline Heart Window and Words die set from the light blue cardstock and then attached it to the butterfly so it looks like it is floating.   I then added some pretty light blue flat back pearls.
