Christmas Blessings

Hello and happy Christmas eve eve!  Rosemary here with one final Christmas card.  For this card I pulled out the beautiful Vintage Flourish cover plate die, the Poinsettia die set and some pretty vintage looking papers from Tim Holtz.

I started my card by determining what patterned papers would look best together for what I wanted to accomplish.  For the front of the card I decided to use a light olivy green patterned paper.  I die cut the Vintage Flourish, popped out all the pieces and then layered it on top of different papers in the pad.  I settled on the plaid patterned you see.  I die cut that piece using the largerst Stitched Dot rectangle die so it would fit perfectly behind the Vintage Flourish die cut.  I also cut the Vintage Flourish from thin white cardstock twice to give the piece a little depth when placed on top of the plaid piece.   The finished panel was then adhered to a kraft cardstock base.  I die cut the poinsettia using the two smaller dies from red gingham patterned paper and adhered them together.  A gold flat back pearl was added to the center and the flower adhered to the panel.  I finished off the card with the sentiment from the Light of Christmas stamp set that I stamped in watermark ink on vellum and heat embossed in gold.   The sentiment was die cut with a banner die from the Slimline Essentials backdrop die set and adhered.  Sorry my card looks a little washed out.  Our weather has turned very dark and rainy so getting a good photo has been a little difficult lately.
