Sending Hugs and a Get Well Soon

Welcome back!  I've got some watercolor for you today using the awesome Dear Daisy stamp set!  I love this set because the big bold flower images leave so much room for some cool coloring.

I started by die cutting watercolor paper using the largest Stitched Dot Rectangle die.  I swipped the entire panel with some antistatic powder.  I stamped the flowers onto the panel using Versamark ink in a random pattern and then heat embossed them in gold.  I used my Albrecht Durer watercolor pencils and a waterbrush to watercolor the flowers and the background.  Finally, I splattered on some Heidi Swapp Color Shine in gold and blotted off the excess.

While the background dried, I cut the letters for the HUGS twice and glued them together and then stamped the "get well soon" in Versamark and heat embossed it in white.  I layered the watercolored panel onto a navy piece of cardstock and then that onto gold.  Finally I added the sentiment to the front and a few sequins!

That's me for today!  Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you'll come again soon for more A Jillian Vance Design inspiration!
