Hello everyone! Rosemary here with a clean and simple design. I want to say at the outset that this is not the card I had intended to share today. I spent most of this past Sunday making a different card and then on Sunday evening decided I wanted to make something else to share today! I was inspired by a card that I saw on another blog that I follow. It featured leaves and I love me some leaves, lol! Because I couldn't get that idea out of my head I just had to make the card and share it with you! This card features some older dies, as well as a new die set and a new stamp set.
As indicated I love me some leaves and I really love the Leaves & Petals die set. It is an older set, but so very versatile. I die cut the leaves from fall themed patterned paper from a Carta Bella 6x6 paper pad that I got last year. I then found a piece of copper colored glitter paper that I had that was big enough to die cut the Stitched Plaid cover plate die from. I cut the paper, removed all the little squares and then used one of the new Stitched Dot In & Out Circle backdrop dies to cut the circle. I adhered that using thin strips of foam tape. I then attached the leaves using Just Glue It adhesive. The sentiments are from the OWL Give Thanks stamp set and were stamped with VersaFine CLAIR Acorn ink. I then used a thin strip die from the Slimline Essentials Backdrop die set to cut all the sentiments out. The sentiment were then adhered and I was done. The card that inspired me to make my card was created for the Less is More challenge so I will be entering my card there, as well.

I love leaves, too & this is beautiful, Rosemary! I need to use some of printed paper with my leaf dies as I don't think I've ever done that! Fabulous idea for the background, too!
Great idea to cut a circle out of the plaid coverdie - love the texture, Rosemary!! Fab leaves too and I love the sentiment strip trio!!
Those sure are some pretty little leaves and I love the dimension you've given them! This is a marvelous card Rosemary!
Gorgeous!
What a great idea to die cut leaves from leaf design papers, and the glittered plaid backdrop is a lovely touch. Viv's card is lovely, I can see why you were inspired by it. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
Simplicity and depth make such an interesting card!
