Welcome back! Lisa here and I have a couple cards to share with you here today! I am just loving these stitched leaves from the Leaves and Petals die set! I decided to cut an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2" sheet of white cardstock and ink blended some yellow, green, and orange onto it. Then I splattered some gold Color Shine onto that and let it dry.
While that was drying I took a sheet of brown and lined up the rectangle die and then the leaves int he center and taped it all down. I knew I would be using the negative space on this one, but I saved my leaves to use later. I cut a white base to 5 1/2 x 4 1/4", and then I cut part of my ink blended background to 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 and layered that on top and then popped up the leave die cut panel over that so all of that pretty color and gold would show through the negative spaces. I stamped my sentiment in Versamark onto a sentiment strip and heat embossed it and popped it up onto the card. I decided I wanted something else by the sentiment so I colored the sunflower from Hug In A Mug and set it right in there! A few gold sequins and that one was done.
I had lots of that pretty ink blended paper left so I cut a bunch of leaves from it and then layered this one together. I stamped my sentiment and heat embossed it into the corner. I added a few of the leaves I cut out (don't worry.. I have some more left!) and placed my sentiment in the bottom right corner. A few sequins and done!
