Hey y'all! Shelly, here.
Happy Friday!!
Today, I'm sharing a fun friendship card with you!
I chose to do a little something different with my owl...I thought a geometric/modern owl would be something fun and thought it was a way to show how crazy you can go with this owl. ;) I started with die cutting my owl using the owl dies along with white cardstock. After, I simply taped off areas here and there and then did some ink blending. Once done, I just removed the tape and then pieced (adhered) my owl together. Easy peasy, right?!...To finish my owl off, I gave him (or her) a little red enamel heart.
Next, I made my background. I used the houndstooth cover plate to make a stencil, then used it with some embossing paste. After things were dried, I stamped on the sentiment (which were actually two different sentiment pieces). Lastly, I added my owl to my card. Fun and simple, yeah?!...
