A Bold Snowflake and Sam!

Hello and happy Wednesday everyone!  Rosemary here and this is a happy day because A Jillian Vance Design has new product in the house!  Woot Woot!   And I have two cards to share using some of those new products!  Yep... two cards!  I was so excited about the new release I just had to make two cards!  Check out the new release:

So.much.good.stuff!  Do you see the new Signature Studio Bag?  So cool!

My first card uses the new Bold Snowflake and Holiday Scripty Greetings!  When I saw that big bold snowflake I was in love!  And the Holiday Scripty Greetings?!  Fabulous!  I kept things simple and just die cut the snowflake from some white glitter cardstock and then additional scrap paper to layer behind the glitter snowflake to give it more substance.  I then die cut some white cardstock using the largest Stitched Dot Rectangle die and adhered the snowflake to the center of the panel.  The sentiment let it snow was die cut from sliver glitter cardstock and additional scrap cardstock for layering.  The shadow part of the sentiment was die cut from vellum and then I adhered the sentiment.  I love the way the sentiments were created.  All the words are linked together making it so easy to keep everything lined up!   I adhered the the sentiment to the center of the snowflake and then adhered the panel to a light gray cardstock base.  Clean, simple, but packs a big punch!

The second card features the new and improved Sam E. Snowman.  How cute is he?   You can turn Sam into a shaker element, but I decided to just go with creating a simple snowman.  I die cut all the pieces and adhered them.  I used Nuvo drops in black for his eyes instead of using the little die cut eyes.  The layout is from Sunday Stamps so I will be adding my little snowman to their gallery.  I used some neutral winter themed papers for the background so that Sam could take center stage and several different dies to cut the papers.  The sentiment I used is from Frosty Friends.  The sentiment and the other strip behind Sam were die cut using the Sentiment Strips die set.   I die cut additional Sams from scrap cardstock and layered them together to give Sam some heft.
