Hello everyone! Hope you are having a great Wednesday. Rosemary here with another letterboard style card today. This card came about because of a card that I made the other day for a couple of challenges. With that card, just like this one, I used the Headline Type alpha die set along with the Vertical Pinstripe cover plate die.
After deciding that I was going to use the Headline Type die set for my card I had to figure out what else to use with it. I decided to stamp the small daisy image from the Hug in a Mug stamp set several times and color with my Copic Markers. I used the colors from the current Sunday Stamps challenge for my colors. I love the deep rich purple and red. After coloring the flowers I trimmed them out and added Nuvo Jewel drops in Morning Dew to the centers of the flowers. The Vertical Pinstripe cover plate was die cut from white and adhered to a white cardstock base with Just Glue It adhesive. The letters were die cut from a dark gray cardstock and then I applied foam tape strips to the backs of the letters. I used a ruler to determine where to place all the letters and then surrounded the HI with the flowers. To add a little more balance to the design I die cut a little butterfly using the die from the Spring Birdie die set, colored it pink with Copics and then adhered it to the N in friend. I really love how it turned out.

Fabulous card, Rosemary! Especially love the striped background die and the jumbo sentiment - reminds me of those letter boards (Tim Holtz showed one today).
