Have a Jolly Jolly Christmas

Hi there it's Tracey back today with a fun little Christmas card to add to your holiday stash! I used the brand new Santa and Friends dies to create a cute Santa for my card.

I started off by die cutting two Santas from white cardstock, Santa's hat from red, the pom pom and hat band from white, Santa's glasses from black and the holly with green and red cardstock! Before adhering anything together I coloured Santa's face using Copic markers and began building up the face. With liquid glue I adhered his black glasses, his red hat, the band and the pompom on his hat. I selectively cut  his beard so that I could cover up the lines where my colouring stopped and curl his mustache up a bit along the cut lines. I glued the holly sprig and the red berry to his hat brim. Then I applied white Liquid Applique to the pompom and hit it with my heat tool. The pom pom puffed up from the heat leaving Santa with a fluffy pompom!

I cut a panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock using the largest rectangle from the Stitched Dot Rectangle Backdrop. I stamped my sentiment from the Merry KISSmas stamp set in black Copic friendly ink on the panel and coloured the image. Then I white embossed a few white snowflakes from the Jingle All the Way stamp set and blended a background over the embossing to create the sky. The final addition was to add a snow bank with some white sparkle cardstock that I cut using the snowbank die from the new Sweet Gingerbread Add-on die set and adhered that to the bottom of the panel. Santa was  nestled in with some foam tape for just a bit more dimension.

Thanks so much for coming by today!
