Surprise! It's Ardyth here today! Usually Thursday is my day, but Tracey and I did a little switch-a-roo and I'm here a couple of days 'early' with a luxurious birthday card with an art deco feel.
I watercoloured a panel of cardstock with blues, aquas and greens and then splattered navy over it all. When it was dry, I cut it out with the Mermaid Scales coverplate, and I cut it again from satin gold cardstock.
I inlaid the watercolour pieces into the gold outline, but I did it randomly, so that my colours got a little more mixed up.
For my sentiment, I die cut and stacked 3 sets of 'happy' letters from the Headline Type die set and created a little birthday tab with a partial sentiment from Happy Birthday.
