just a note

Hello and happy August everyone!  Rosemary here with a clean and simple card that I made using one of the smaller images from the Dear Daisy stamp set.   The sentiment is from Delightful Sentiments.

I stamped the image on white cardstock with black ink and then colored the image with Polychromos color pencils in two shades of pink and green and one shade of yellow.   The sentiment was stamped in Catherine Pooler Rose Petals and then I die cut the image with one of the smaller rectangles from the Stitched Dot rectangle die set.  I had some patterned paper in my stash that looks like the paint chips you get at the home improvement store and some of the papers were in colors that matched my color pencils.  I trimmed down three strips, adhered them to a white cardstock base and adhered the rectangle over top.  Super clean and simple!
