Ink-blended Succulent

Good morning! Ardyth here with an ink-blended succulent made with the Pop-up Petals die set.

I started by cutting 2 of the largest flower, and one each of the medium and smaller flower, one of the smallest flower centres, and one flower from Cute Cactus.

Then I used sponge daubers to blend and layer up different colours of inks. 3 shades of green all over, then I added some purple to the edges.

I used a coral colour for the flower and yellow for the centre.

Once I layered up and 'fluffed out' all the pop-up bits, my succulent had quite a bit of dimension and texture!

For my sentiment, I cut the widest sentiment strip from kraft cardstock and the narrowest one from white.

I used the Weathered Wood Inkboss plate to add some texture to the kraft strip and I stamped a sentiment from Hey Chick on the white. I layered them slightly tilted on the card for more interest.

I glued the succulent to the card with Just Glue It, and then to finish off, I added a clear Mermaid Bubble for shine and dimension.
