Hi everyone! Hope you all had a lovely Easter! Rosemary here and I have a clean and simple card that I made using lots of dies from the A Jillian Vance Design store along with a sentiment from the new Delightful Sentiments set.
As I was thinking about what to make for this week's post I did a little cruising around the internet and found a challenge blog that had a fun little sketch to work with to make a card. The sketch was one that a love working with... clean and simple with a cluster of elements. It grabbed my attention immediately and the idea for my card was born. Putting the card together went quite quickly once I determined what pattern paper and dies I would use. So many of my favorite AJVD dies appear on this one card: Swirly Vine, Daisy and Minnie Pearl Tag dies. The pattern paper is from a very old (probably 2013) My Mind's Eye pad called Tangerine. I just love the fun colors in the pad. They are muted yet still rather bright. Die cut the main elements and the two strips of pattern paper and then layered everything up. The simple sentiment was stamped with Catherine Pooler Black Jack ink to finish the card off. Adding this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of anything goes.
