Daisy for Mom

Ardyth here with a simple, colourful card for Mom! The new Create a Card Daisy set can be used to make a daisy-shaped card, but you can also use the pieces on a regular A2 card.

I cut the daisy, centre, leaf and ladybug wings from white cardstock, and blended Catherine Pooler inks on the leaf (Lime Rickey), centre (Limoncello) and wings (Rockin' Red). I cut the bug body and MOM from black cardstock.

I inlaid the yellow centre into the white daisy by cutting the centre from the flower and then placing some tape behind the hole so that the yellow centre would stick. Then I cut out MOM and inlaid the black letters I had cut earlier.

To make my classic white-and-yellow daisy pop, I created a blue background by blending Fiesta Blue, Something Borrowed and Suede Shoes onto a white panel before trimming it with the largest Stitched Dot Rectangle die.
