Hi there, it's Tracey back again today with another card for A Jillian Vance Design. Now that all of Christmas is put away for another year and the house is back to normal it's time to move on to making projects that are not necessarily for the holidays--at least not for now.
I don't know about you but I am always looking for birthday cards in my stash and my stash is getting low. The Shell Yeah! stamp set, the Seas Shells & Mermaid Tails die set along with the Mermaid Scales Cover Plate die were just what I was looking for to create a card that is perfect for any kind of celebration. I used the Mermaid Scales Cover Plate die to create a stencil for my background and used Catherine Pooler Ink to blend over my stencil to create a soft background with Aquatini. For my two sea shell die cuts from the Seas Shells & Mermaid Tails die set I blended two more Catherine Pooler Inks, Limoncello from the bottom of the shells and Coral Cabana coming down from the top. Really with these stamps and die sets the options for cardmaking are endless.
