Joy

Hey y'all! Shelly, here.
Happy Friday!

Today, I'm sharing a simple winter/Christmas card with you.

*Note: I did do a woodgrain embossed background using an embossing folder. Though sadly I cannot capture it. :( But I promise you, it is there.* I started with cutting all the die cut pieces out. I used kraft cardstock for everything, except for the bird and 'joy', I used white cardstock and red glitter cardstock. I also layered my bird and joy twice, as well as my pine cones. For my pine cones and little 'berry' stem I added some faux snow using a white gel pen.

Next, I used white cardstock with the largest stitched rectangle die. Then added foam tape on the back and added it to my card base. Once done, I started to added all my die cut pieces. Though before adhering anything down, I played with things for a bit to find the placement that I liked. Simple, right?!...To finish things off, I added my joy die cut to my card and a few clear gems. Simple, yeah?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Shelly, you've captured my CAS-loving heart with this pretty pine bough and Joy sentiment! Kraft, red and white: one of my favourite Christmas combinations! Beautiful card!
