Hello and happy Wednesday everyone! Rosemary here with a very simple card made with the Best of Fall stamp set.
I don't know about you, but sometimes things just get away from me and I suddenly find myself having to make something very quickly. Such is the case with my card today. I found myself on Sunday evening realizing that I needed to get my card for this week's post done and done quickly! Since I already had the Best of Fall stamp set out I decided to use the sunflower image and do some coloring with my Prismacolor pencils. I stamped the image using Catherine Pooler Icing on the Cake ink and then colored the image very simply. I used three colors for the flower petals, two for the leaves, one for the flower center and then two for the pot. I added a little bit of coloring around the pot to ground it. Then I simply added the sentiment also stamped in Icing on the Cake. Die cut the piece with the large Stitched Dot rectangle die, mounted it on a kraft cardstock base and I was done! It might be simple, but I really love how it turned out!
