Hello and happy Wednesday! Rosemary here today. Thanksgiving is right around the corner and so as my blog title indicates I have a simple thanksgiving card to share today. I made this card with one of the leaf dies from the Laurel Leaves die set. I have had this die set for ages, but this is the first time I have used it! Shame on me, lol!
Since I still need to thin out my extensive collection of 6x6 paper pads I pulled out one from My Mind's Eye that had some soft and pretty colors in it. I used a gingham piece that has a soft aqua coloring and a houndstooth in a light yellow. The aqua piece was die cut with the large Stitched Dot Rectangle. The leaf image was die cut eight times and then two of each leaf were adhered together to give the leaf a little more heft. I stamped the sentiment from Best of Fall in Catherine Pooler Black Jack ink on a piece of coordinating paper that had been die cut with the thinnest sentiment strip from the Sentiments Strip set. The strip was trimmed down and then I arranged all my pieces of the card front. The panel was then adhered to a light beige cardstock base. The layout for my card is from CAS(E) this Sketch so I will be posting my card there. Also adding this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge.
