Now that Halloween is over the Christmas season has kicked into high gear. However, we still often have birthdays before the big day and nothing is more fun to make a feminine card with than mermaids. I sponged my background using the Marmaid Scales Cover Plate die as a stencil. Then I sponged some Distress Oxide ink on to the mermaid tail from the Seas Shells & Mermaid Tails dies. I selectively applied some embossing ink on to the tips of her tail and along the one side of the tail that was embossed with silver embossing powder for some sparkle in the water. I selected a sentiment from the Shell Yeah! stamp set to add to the top. The whole tail was painted with a clear glitter brush and finally a few clear drops were added around her.
