We make a Great Pear!

Hello and Happy Labor Day.  Hope you all are taking a relaxation day today! Jillian's college actually has classes today! So as the song says "Ain't no rest for the wicked!" for us today!
So I love the colors on this card! First of all this PEARfect Stamp and Die Set is darling!!! Since my maiden name is Bartlett, I have ALWAYS loved Pears!

To create this soft, textured background, I used the Vintage Floral Flourish INKboss INKpression plate on white cardstock, then I ink blended Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink over that embossed background to give it a soft look but yet you can still see the design of the INKboss plate! This was cut using our Stitched Dot Rectangle which layers perfectly on our Basic Rectangle Backdrop which is shown in black cardstock in this photo.

Then I watercolored with the Distress Oxides on Ranger Watercolor Paper and die cut  using the PEARfect Die that comes in the PEARfect Stamp and Die Set, then I layered more ink using a waterbrush, so I could see just where the shading needed to go! I love how soft yet, shaded they look! Added a touch of Peeled Paint for the leaves and Walnut Stain for the stem and done!

Stamped the sentiment from the PEARfect Stamp and Die Set and die cut the word pear that comes in the Die set and Viola!... Done!
