Hello!!! Christmas is just a few days away!! Are you ready?? I think I am! I have one more Christmas card to share using the gorgeous new Poinsettia Greetings stamps and dies.
I stamped the poinsettias in watermark ink and then embossed in gold on watercolor paper. The images were then watercolored with some Daniel Smith watercolors that I have on a dot palette. Once everything was dry I die cut the image with the matching die. Some gold glitter cardstock was die cut using one of the labels from the Art Deco Frame Backdrop die set. A red cardstock that was a good match to the watercolored poinsettias was die cut with a Stitched Dot Rectangle die and then matted with white cardstock cut with a plain rectangle backdrop die. The gold label was layered on top along with the image. I die cut the Merry word die three times from vellum cardstock, adhered them together and adhered it to the poinsettia. Finished off the card by stamping the word Christmas on dark gray cardstock with watermark ink, embossed in white and trimming it down to fit on the card. I'm going to add this card to the gallery at Merry Monday Christmas challenge. It is the last challenge of the year and it is a tic-tac-toe challenge. I went with stamping, die cut and red.
