Hello everyone... Helen is back with a mixed media winter themed card to share with you.
I created the background using my daughter's Stabilo Woody Crayons, water, and white acrylic spray paint on a 140 lbs watercolor paper. After the background dried, I sprayed lightly with mixture of Perfect Pearl for extra sparkle on it. I dried it with craft heater.
I added some snowflakes on the background. First make sure the background is completely dried before heat embossing process. I added some anti-static powder on the panel, stamped the snowflake randomly on the background panel with Versamark Ink Pad, and then I added the mixture of white-glitter embossing powder on it. I used small round brush to remove the extra powder from the panel. Then heat set them with craft heater. I added the finished panel on a white card base with Tombow Xtreme Adhesive.
I stamped the Frosty snowman on another piece of watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx Black ink pad, and then colored it with Arteza Real Brush Pens and Spectrum Noir Sparkle Brush Pen. I dried it with craft heater and then die cut it with the matching die that comes in the set.
I cut out a piece of white scrap cardstock to create the hill. I added some Tumble Glass Distress Ink on the hill with sponge. Then I stamped the sentiment on it with Summer Sky Memento Dew Drop Ink. After that, I added the hill background on the card with adhesive runner.
Last step, I added the Frosty snowman on the card with some 3D foam tape for extra dimension to it.
That's the card for today. I hope you all enjoy it. Thanks for stopping by today!

I created my card today using the Frosty Stamp and Die Collection. This set is one of my favorite sets from A Jillian Vance Design collection to create Christmas and Winter Themed cards for this season. I love the snowman is just super cute!
