Fall Birthday Card

Hello, Lisa Hoel here with a fall-themed birthday card. I've used the dies in a different way! ;-)

You can use your dies as masks and stencils! First I spritzed my cardstock background with Antique Linen Distress Spray Stain to create an underlying layer of texture with the spatters. Then, I cut leaves out of cardstock to use as masks:

I carefully held each leaf in place and then used the Distress Oxide inks to blend around them.

I also used a diecut from the Quatrefoil Cover Plate as a stencil to add a final touch of detail to the card front. As a last step, I misted/spattered the card front to activate the Oxide Inks.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you get a chance to get inky this week!
