Hello all... Helen is here today in the mood of Holiday becuase the new Poinsettia Greetings Stamp Set. And I know I have to make some cards with this set! My card today is a clean-and-simple, mixed media card.
For the poinsettia, I stamped and heat embossed it on a vellum paper. Using the ShinHan Touch Twin Markers, I colored the poinsettia flower on the back side. I set it aside for several minutes to make sure it was dry well. You can also use craft heater to speed up the drying process if you want to. Once it was dry, I fussy cut it out with micro-tip scissors.
I added the background panel on the card, and then I added the vellum poinsettia on the card with dries-clear liquid adhesive. I added some glitter on the flower using Spectrum Noir Sparkle Brush Pen. I added some shadow to the flower using Faber-Castell Grey Brush Pen.
I stamped the sentiment for the Poinsettia Greetings 4x6 Stamp Set on a white cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. I cut out the banner tail with scissors, and I added some shadow with Faber-Castell Grey Brush Pen. I wrapped some natural twine ribbon on it and added it on the card with 3D foam tape.
That's my card for you today. I hope you all enjoy it and be inspired!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!

On the background, I used the Scattered Snow Background Builder Stamp. I stamped it and heat embossed it on a heavy weight white cardstock with white embossing paper. Then I sponged the Distress Inks (Stormy Sky and Brocken China) to create the snowy sky background. I also sprayed some water and dabbed it with paper towel.
