Hello everyone... Helen is here today. I hope you all had a fabulous time celebrating Mother's Day with your family.
Today, I have two mixed media cards I created using dye inks, Gelatos, pencil colors, and water
First, I added the Gelatos directly on the Hearts Background Builder Cling Stamp and lightly I sprayed some water. Then I added the watercolor paper on it. Gently I rub it all around to make sure the Gelatos transfered well on the paper. I lift it up and set aside to dry. That was the first print.
To make the second print, I sprayed the water again on the stamp without adding more Gelatos. I did the same steps and I got more lighter and blended background.
Once they were dry, I run them through my die cutting machine with one of the Stitched Dot Rectangle Background Die Set. And then I stamped the sentiments from Mother's Day Stamp Set and Simply Noted: Damask (retired) with Memento Tuxedo Black and London Fog ink pads using Mini MISTI.
Then I stamped the flowers from Mother's Day Stamp Set and colored them with Spectrum Noir Blendable pencils and fussy cut them with micro-tip scissors.
To put my cards together, first I added the pink base mat on the card base and then the watercolored panel with strong adhesive. And next, I added the flowers with 3D foam adhesive. I finished the cards with some pearl gems assortment.
That's all my cards today to share with you. I hope you all are inspired. Thank you so much for visiting today! Come back again tomorrow to see more from the design team!
