Damask CAS and One Layer Cards

Hello everyone! Helen Gullett is here today. This is my very first time sharing a project with you. I am super excited and thankful to be a guest designer for A Jillian Vance Design this month! Special thanks to Bunny and Jillian who has given me this opportunity :)

My project today is using Simply Noted: Damask Stamp Set. It is a beautiful stamp set for creating note cards. When I saw the damask design, the color black, white and red are my choice of colors. So, I created several one layer, CAS note cards with this stamp set.

First I stamped the border damask stamp with MISTI and Versafine Onyx Black.

Then I built the background with the individual damask image using the same ink pad. Once I was done stamping the background, I then stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set. Using MISTI, it was done in a jiffy :)

Here are the first set, I leave them plain as they are...

Second card set, I add read lace ribbon on them. The touch of red give some pop on them, too.

This Simply Noted: Damask Stamp Set is retiring and there are more at the Last Chance section that you might wanna check and grab while you can :)

So, which set is your favorite? The plain CAS or the ones with ribbon?

THANK YOU so much for visiting today and I hope you all have fabulous day!
