The great thing about "Grandpa's Glass: Cup of Love Die" is that you don't have to use the entire stained glass cut. By doing a little trimming, you can have a fine die cut of a coffee cut and steam. Kecia Waters on the blog today, back with yet another card from "Grandpa's Glass: Cup of Love Die and Perk Up Stamp Set".
To make this card, I cut white cardstock with "Grandpa's Glass: Cup of Love Die". I trimmed around the cup and steam, and discarded the stained glass pieces. I proceeded to sponge Hazel pigment ink around the cup and steam.
On a separate piece of white cardstock, I stamped AJVD's "Sunburst Swirl Background Builder Stamp" with the same Hazel pigment ink. I positioned the very center of the sunburst to appear inside the cup.
On a pieceof white cardstock, I drew the tabletop with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils, and put a little bit of background noise with Copic markers. I placed the cup into the scene, and stamped the sentiment from "Perk Up" with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I framed this panel with black cardstock.
Using the Hazel pigment ink, I stamped another white cardstock panel with "Sunburst Swirl Background Builder Stamp" to use as the largest card panel.
