Happy Wednesday A Jillian Vance Design fans!! Rosemary here on the blog today with one final Valentine's day project to share. Kept things simple and put all the focus on a sentiment from the Cross Stitch Love stamp set.
Started this card by stamping a subtle background using the Quilting Stitches background stamp on some patterned paper from My Mind's Eye using pink ink. That was then die cut using a Polka Dot Rectangle Backdrop die to create my main panel. I stamped a white piece of cardstock with the sentiment using the same pink ink and then die cut it with the second to the smallest die from Polka Dot Rectangles. A mat was cut from gold glitter cardstock using a rectangle backdrop die and then a final mat from light grey using another Polka Dot Rectangle die. For a little bit more interest I die cut the needle from Hoop It Up, cut slits in the heart and slipped the needle through and then matted that piece using the gold glitter rectangle. That piece was matted with the light grey rectangle and then added to the main panel. A sweet and simple Valentine.
