Hi Lisa here today, with Quilt Notes!
You ever just want a little card to put in with a package, attach to a plate of cookies, place on your loved one's desk etc?
I know these cuties will fit the bill.
I'm sure you have a pack of papers that look like this. I loved it so much, all that is left is scraps.
So I cut them up using the Grandma's Garden Quilt Die.
These will be nice to have all cut out to make future crafting faster and easier.
I cut out the die from White Cardstock and removed all the inside pieces.
With the die over on its front and started placing my pattern pieces inside, two at a time.
Adhering them with double sided tape with a liner.
And taped in the opposite direction of the other strips to hold pieces in place.
Last taping step,
I applied foam tape over the exposed tape that I laid down first (and yes I left the liners on, from the above tape step)
I adhered it to my 3 x 3 card base
(6 x 3 piece of cardstock folded in the middle) for a top fold.
For the inside,
I made a liner using a 5 3/4 x 2 3/4 piece of copy paper folded in the middle for a top fold. It will leave a 1/8" border. I stamped this adorable threaded needle from the Sew Special Stamp Set in the bottom corner. To adhere the liner to the inside, I folded it in half and adhered double sided tape to the top. Then I just centered it on the bottom of the inside then closed the card and burnished with a bone folder.
I made a set to give my Mom who is a quilter.
