As card makers, we know how expensive our multi-layered cards with embellishments can be to mail to friends and relatives. Kecia Waters here with a one layer card to share with you, guaranteed to only cost the standard $0.49 to mail in the US.
I had fun making this card. I started with the snowy background. To create this, I sponged Distress Inks Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass onto a white cardstock panel. I then spritzed the panel with water and allowed it to dry completely. Once dry, I stamped random snowflakes from the AJVD set "Winter Woodland" by Whimsie Doodles onto the panel with Brilliance Moonlight White Pigment Ink.
Then, I stamped the horizon line, also from "Winter Woodland" twice across the bottom of the card with Versafine Onyx Black. I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black as well.
Using the polar bear from "Winter Woodland", I stamped the image onto a scrap of X-Press It cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I added some slight shading with Copic markers and fussy cut. The polar bear was then placed into the wintery scene.
