Flowers For Grandma

Hey there!

Jennifer from Scrapping Under the Influence back again! I decided to join A Jillian Vance Design this week for a guest post of Mother's Day cards. Here are two cards I did for my mother, both from the Sweet Baby.

Lets start with my simple 3x3 card. For this card I used the Celebrate Mom stamp. I found a simple 3D flower file from the Silhouette store and made a custom brad with my i-Top. I added some spotted washi tape and my sentiment. The inside is blank to write a little note.

Can you believe this is the first time I've made a flower pot card? I always see these cute ideas but I'm always WAY behind the curve in trying them. This card was from another file in the Silhouette Store by Lori Whitlock. Super simple to cut and assemble.

I used the Quatrefoil Background stamp on the bottom of the card to give it some visual texture. I used the {die}verse Tag Die and some twine from The Twinery for my sentiment. On the tag I used two stamps from the Celebrate Mom set and also used sentiments from that set on the inside of the card. I used paper and buttons from October Afternoon's Woodland Park collection.

Nothing too complicated!
