Building Backgrounds - Pinterest Inspired


Good morning! Ardyth here, and I'm back with one more BIG idea for building backgrounds with die cuts. I used the 8 point star from the Mini Quilt Blocks set to create a panel that was 8.5x11 inches:


This was inspired by a cross-stitch piece I saw on Pinterest:




After cutting and inlaying all the quilt blocks, I filled in the angled edges with blended panels cut with the large solid square from the 8 point Square set.  This gave me 4 unique and very interesting panels that I used to make my cards:
