I'm back again with another release project! This time I'm using the new Lovely Lantern and Holly & Swirls Die Sets along with some other items from the shop!
I started with a gel print that had blues and splattered on some acrylic paints to give a feel of a snowy evening. I cut the lantern in gold cardstock, weaved the Holly Swirls through it and added popup tape to all of the thicker lines of the die cut for structure but before I added it to the card, I only took the backing off of the thickest horizontal lines and left it on the vertical ones so I'd be able to slide things under it.
I had a leftover center piece from one of the bulb dies from my last project in yellow so I thought it would make the perfect bulb for my lantern. I cut a circle from a yellow vellum and slid it under the lantern with a small amount of glue to keep it in place. Then I added the bulb over it so it was like a glowing light from the bulb.
I added all of my other die cuts using various thicknesses of foam tape and finally stamped a sentiment from the Let It Snow sentiment set and added a few sequins
