Red Roses

Don't let those big Fresh Floral Stamps be intimidating!
We are not big coloring people...well, we are now coloring more than before, but
I have always kind of been intimidated with coloring and all the available mediums.
I know how to use Copics but are a little rusty with them.
So I grabbed my Distress Inks and my Tim Holtz Watercolor Brush and colored this beautiful Fresh Florals Arch using Festive Berries and Candied Apple Distress Inks, I used Mowed Lawn for the leaves.
Black Archival Distress in Black Soot for the sentiment which is on the same Fresh Florals Arch Stamp Set.

I decided to use the Mini Hearts A2 Cover Plate layered on the Basic Rectangle Backdrop to give this a loving feel. I love the Blessed word die cut that comes with the coordinating Fresh Florals Arch Die Set coming the end of March! It also features a shadow so if you want to stamp and cut it or layer the die cut on the shadow is an option as well.

Three of the Fresh Florals Die Sets include a banner sentiment die, same height but different widths so you have a set of 3 when you purchase all the coordinating die sets. How fun is THAT!

See our post HERE for the video of me showing how to color with Distress Inks from our Tuesday Night Live and Jillian showing how to use Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol!
Take a chance and try watercoloring with your distress inks, it really is fun and relaxing as well as a great way to use what you already have in your craft room!

Don't forget to join us tonight of our Tuesday Night Live
