Grateful... take 2

Hello everyone!  Rosemary here with my second guest designer post.  I'm sharing another card I created with the new Fresh Florals: Cascade stamp set.

In the stamp set there is one small image of two buds and I decided that I wanted to focus on that image for my card.  I stamped the images approximately 14 times with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored them with Copic markers in the blue/gray family.   I then used the matching die to cut each one out.  I used two small circle dies from the Circle Backdrop die set to create wreath foundation and then I adhered all the little buds.  A blue gray cardstock was used to die the word grateful and the shadow was die cut from vellum.  To add more interest to the card I used the Vintage Cover Plate die to create a stencil.  I used Distress texture paste (crackle) through the stencil.  Once I removed my stencil I sprinkled on Distress glaze in Speckled Egg.  I let the piece dry completely before heating up the distress glaze.  The texture paste did cause warping in the cardstock, but I love how it turned out.  I adhered a twine bow to the wreath, glued the wreath to the card front and then added the sentiment with foam dots.
