I'm back with another heart shaped Valentine. This time I decided to make it a shaker. Super easy with the help of the Stitch Dot Heart Backdrop dies. I created the base with the largest by folding my cardstock in half and running it through with the top of the heart hanging just over the edge of the fold. I nested the second largest heart and the fourth largest together and held them in place with some tape. I used the third largest heart to cut the design paper layer and the acetate to add to my heart frame (the perfect size since it is in between the two I used for the frame).
My paper had the "sweetheart" word on it so I cut that layer strategically so it would show through the window.
I stamped, die cut and colored the roses from the Hug In A Mug set and I had cut that pretty bird using the bird and wing dies from the Tweet Bird Cage set from some gel press paper scrap I had. Finally the sprig was in my stash in white so I colored it up the same color as the flower leaves and then added some red Nuvo drops to the tips.
I had a lot of fun layering everything and just moved them around until I was happy and adhered them with glue and various thicknesses of foam tape.
Thanks so much for stopping! Come again soon!
