Hi everyone! Happy Friday! I hope you're having a fantastic day. Today I have a fun little card for Valentine's Day (hope you're not tired of those yet, there's more where that came from!)
Today's card is inspired by envelopes... anyone send a love letter or two before?
I decided to emboss a Stitch Dot Heart (the 2nd smallest size) with Fool's Gold Embossing Powder from WOW! I then cut a Basic Backdrop in white and placed the Elegant Edges die that looks like an obtuse angle (any math experts out there?) Where I wanted it, making sure it was even. I then cut that. Using a ruler, I used one of Wow's embossing pens and drew a line along the edge of the envelope on one side before embossing it with Fool's Gold and then doing the same on the other side. I took the Sending Happy Mail stamp set and stamped Sending and Love (they're two different stamps, I just lined them up using the MISTI), on another Basic Backdrop that I cut.
Then added a black base layer... and here it is! I think this card is so cute and so much fun. I hope you do too! I'll see you all next week, have a wonderful weekend!
