Season's Greetings Slimline

Hello!  Have you seen the cool new trees in the shop??  I love that they are the perfect size for both the Mini Slimline and regular Slimline cards. I created a slimline for today using all three!

I cut the trees from a previously created gel print.  I cut the slimline panel and blended some light blue ink onto it and then die cut some snowflakes from glitter paper and glued them on in a random pattern.  Then I added the trees with foam tape and fit a few more snowflakes on.. cutting some in half and tucking them behind the trees... extra snowflakes with no more cuts!

Finally, I cut the season's greetings sentiment from a darker gel print and the background from white and adhered them and popped them up on the bottom.  Finally a few sequins.  I added a green and then white base to finish it off.

Pretty and simple!

Thanks so much for sotpping!  Hope you'll come again soon!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I truly am thankful for all of you. It has been a challenging two years and you all have gotten me though it by Crafting A Long and attending shows we have done. We couldn't have done any of it without your support and love.
I am so grateful, thankful and blessed.

making spirits bright...

Hello and happy Thanksgiving to everyone in the US!  I don't have a Thanksgiving card to share, but a clean and simple Christmas card using the Classic Candle die set and the Light of Christmas stamp set.

Pretty straight forward card, I think.  I was inspired by the photo from the Inspired By challenge.  It features candles surrounded by beautiful florals.  I die cut the candle from white cardstock and then added a little bit of shading with a warm gray Copic marker.  I die cut the flame from yellow cardstock and added that to the candle.  I then die cut all of the other elements from various cardstocks.  I added little red berries to the holly using Red Berry Crystal Drops and Ivory Seashell Crystal Drops to the center of my flower.  I used the brand new So Many Stitched Sentiments dies to cut sentiment strips from white cardstock and then found one to fit my sentiment.  I stamped the sentiment and then arranged all my elements on the card front.

Hexagon Critter Gift Tags!

Hey everyone! I hope you're ready for more shaker projects... cause I have some super fun Christmas gift tags!

I used the super fun and favorite Rudy and Friends die set to create the adorable little critters. They're super fun and easy to put together, and the set comes with a deer, a penguin, a bear, and a snowman! They're all absolutely adorable and work on a variety of projects (and they don't have to be for Christmas).

I created the tags using the Stitch Dot Hexagons, which are brand new! They make awesome backdrops, card elements, and shakers!

We did a tag during last week's Tuesday Night Live; I've added the video below the photos so you an take a look! Make sure to tune in every Tuesday night at 7 PM EST on our Facebook for fun projects and just to hang out with us!

Quick and Easy Shaker Christmas Cards!

Welcome back!  I've got a quick and easy shaker card with some of the new dies in the shop and some Journal type cards that came with a Carta Bella paper pack I got for a previous holiday!

I just cut the cool new Emerald die and rectangle die together... I used washi tape to line them up on the Design Paper and ran them through together leaving a rectangle panel with a window.  Then I added some acetate to the back of that panel.  I chose another piece of cardstock and cut it 1/8" larger than the stitched rectangle and adhered the journal card onto the center of that panel.  I added sequins in the center of the journal card and popup tape around the outside of the window and along the edges of the design paper panel and then popped it up over the sequins.

Finally, I cut a bunch of sentiment strips at once using the new So Many Strips Sentiment Strips Die Set and stamped a sentiment from the Just BeClaus stamp set and stuck Mini Bold Snowflake die cut from glitter paper.

That's it!  Easy peasy!  So easy I made a few more and I'll be sharing those later!

Thanks so much for stopping and come again soon!  Be sure to check out all of the new stuff and also check out what's on sale for Stampalooza!

You + Me = The Perfect Blend

Hi everyone! Welcome to the final day of the Fall/Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!
I hope you guys aren't tired of the Afternoon Tea set, because today's project is using that 😊

You can find the main post at the link below, make sure to link up your projects and check out the ones already linked! There are so many fun giveaways and projects from awesome brands to see. Don't miss them! All the details are on the official blog.
Today's card is one that I really really loved making. I love shaker cards, they're always so much fun to play with and create! That's why I love that a few of the new die sets have the drop-ins that allow for shakers. I used some glitter and the hearts cut out from the Mini Hearts A2 Cover Plate. Save them, they make great confetti! I then glued a few down so that it looked like the hearts were being poured into the coffee cup. I added one of the new Stitch Dot Hexagon Backdrop dies behind the cup and the pot, and used a fun hot pink! The sentiment is from the Hug in a Mug stamp set.

Thanks so much to everyone who's been coming back day after day for this hop! Hope you enjoyed!

Also, our Stampapalooza Sale is officially on TOMORROW! Sale items are an extra 55% off and there are some great bundles too!
