hello... sending sunny smiles

Hello everyone!  Rosemary here with a bright and sunny card today.  After I completed the card I shared last week I realized that I had not used the Dancing Daisies cover plate die in ages.  It is such a pretty cover plate die and with the matching Open Dancing Daisies cover plate die there are lots of fun ways to use it.  I decided to pair it up with the Daisy die set and some fun patterned papers.

I picked this fun, bright and happy yellow polka dot paper for my daisies and die cut them out.  I then die cut the cover plate die from white cardstock.  The pad of paper I got the polka dot paper from had some patterned paper that looks like a whitewashed wood plank wall (or floor).  I die cut that with the largest Stitched Dot rectangle die and then adhered the Dancing Daisies die cut to it using foam tape.  I then adhered the patterned paper daisies on top finishing with the flower centers that I die cut from a piece of navy blue patterned paper from the same pad.  At first I was just going to have the sentiment strip (I used a sentiment strip die from the Slimline Essentials die set) on the card, but then saw the hello die from the Slimline Rectangle Window & Words die set and decided to use that as well.  I die cut the hello from the patterned paper used to die cut the flower centers as well as a scrap of paper, adhered them together and then placed it on my card front.  I stamped the sentiment from Let's Talk Hawaiian in a bright yellow ink on the sentiment strip and adhered it to the card front.  I just love how this card turned out!  Since I did use some blue on my card I'm going to add it to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge
