Happy Wednesday friends! Rosemary here with a couple of Christmas tags that I made using products from the new July release! One of the new products is actually an updated version of a die set. Several years ago Jillian released a die set of an antique sled and I just loved it, but then it was retired. Now it is back, but with more fun dies included! There are skis, ski poles, a little snowdrift and dies to help you create a little pine swag! So much fun! I knew I wanted to make something with this set, but couldn't come up with a good card design so I decided to make some tags!
I created my sled first by die cutting it from metallic silver cardstock and then from kraft. I trimmed off parts of the kraft sled and adhered it to the silver one so it looks like the runners, etc are metal. Then I created my little swag using the die from the set. The bow was die cut from red glitter cardstock and adhered to my swag. I found some old Christmas patterned paper (from Pink Paislee... are they still around?) and die cut my tag using the Minnie Pearl Tag set. I die cut a piece of white cardstock to give the back a clean finish and adhered that to my patterned paper tag. The sled was popped up on the tag with foam dots. The word noel is from the new Vintage Ornaments die set. I die cut that from paper from the same pad three times and adhered them together. I then adhered that to my little swag. I finished it off with some ribbon, twine and little jingle bells.
For the second tag I used one of the smaller banner dies from the Mini Slimline Stitched Dot Banners die set and cut it from some old Christmas paper (Glitz Design... are they still around?). I also cut the banner from white cardstock to give the back of the tag a clean finish. I don't have a hole punch so I used the period die from the Headline Type alpha die set to die cut the hole. The skis were cut from paper from the same pad twice and adhered together. I die cut the ski poles from metallic silver cardstock. I adhered the skis and poles together, added the little red glitter bow and adhered the piece to my tag. The word joy is also from the Vintage Ornaments die set, was die cut twice, adhered together and adhered to the tag. Finished the tag off in the same way as the first... ribbon, twine and jingle bells.
Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day!

Fabulous tags Rosemary, I'm sure they would enhance the Xmas present and be kept for a tree decoration next year! I would.
