you are loved...

Hello eveyone!   Rosemary here with fun and glittery (is that a word!?) card that I created with two new additions to the A Jillian Vance Designs cover plate family.  One is actually a reboot of a die previously released by AJVD that had to be retired due to the design being stolen and sold by a knock-off company. (I only tell you this because it is important for people to understand that these knock off companies do great damage to small stamp companies like A Jillian Vance Design!) The two new dies are the Dancing Daisies and Open Dancing Daisies.  I was so sad (and mad) when I had to stop using the original Dancing Daisies cover plate die!     But super happy when Jillian let us know that she was bringing it back and introducing the Open Dancing Daisie cover plate die!   I love that you can use the dies separately or together!

I went with a pink, white and gold color palette for my design.  I die cut the Open Dancing Daisies cover plate die from gold glitter cardstock and the Dancing Daisies cover plate die from pink.  The two were then layered together.  I cut an additional Dancing Daisies panel from white cardstock and layered with the first two to give it even more stability.  I then decided that I wanted to make a shaker card with the panel so I adhered a piece of acetate for my window and then thin strips of foam adhesive around the edges.  I die cut white cardstock with the largest Stitched Dot Rectangle die for the backing piece.  On that piece I places some pink and white sequins along with gold confetti pieces.  When you die cut each of the cover plate dies one of the daisies that is cut is not attached to the other daisies.  You can use this daisy for something else or with the cover plate.  I decided to add the ones created when I did my die cutting to my shaker mix!  I love the fun element it adds to the card!  To finish things off I die cut the flower centers from additional pink cardstock, adhered them to the daisies and then added Novu Jewel Drops in Morning Dew to the flower centers.   The sentiment is from the Happy Hearts stamp set and was heat embossed in WOW gold embossing powder on a vellum banner die cut using the banner die from the Stitched Sentiment Quartet.  Adding this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge to layer it up.
