Keeping Faith

Welcome back!  Lisa here and sharing a bright and cheery card of encouragement for a friend.  We all need to keep a little faith about now and hopefully this one will deliver a much needed boost.

I started the background by blending some Squeezed Lemonade and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxides let them them over lap enough to create a bit of a pretty orange sherbet shade... I love this combo!  I used my heat gun to dry the inks and then swiped some anti-static powder over the top.  I used my Misti to stamp the butterfly from Hug In A Mug in a random pattern with Versamark Ink and then heat embossed it with white powder.  I added some white splatters and set it aside.

I cut the widest Sentiment Strip from black and next smaller in white.  They were both trimmed to 4 1/4" long and stacked one on top of the other with some thin foam tape in between.  Then I stamped, cut and colored the image from Dear Daisy and added that to the strip and cut the Faith word die from the Slimline Heart Window and Words set twice from white and once in black and stacked them together and added them to the strip.

When the butterfly panel was dry, I assembled all of my pieces and added a few sequins!

Easy Peasy Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide.. well, that doesn't rhyme... but it was easy to create!

That's me for today... thanks so much for stopping and hope you'll come again soon for more A Jillian Vance Design inspiration!
