Hello and happy Wednesday everyone! Rosemary here with another fall themed card. I just love pumpkins and can't wait to start filling up my front porch with them! Today I have a card I created using the Perfect Pumpkin die set and distress oxide inks. I also used a few other A Jillian Vance Design dies to complete my card.
I die cut the pumpkin twice from cardstock and then inked up one entire pumpkin and the middle section of the second with distress oxide inks in mustard seed and wild honey. I trimmed out the middle piece from the second pumpkin and popped it up on the full pumpkin. The leaves were inked with lucky clover and the stem with brushed corduroy. The adhered those pieces to my pumpkin. I had die cut the Checkerboard cover plate die from kraft cardstock several days earlier because I thought I was going to use it on another card, but didn't. So I decided to use it for this card. I did have a little bit of a problem coming up with the overall design of the card, but that happens sometimes, right? I die cut additional Checkerboard pieces from thin white cardstock and adhered them to the kraft one. Some light yellow cardstock was die cut with the largest Stitched Dot rectangle die and adhered to the Checkerboard die cut. I used a small Stitched Dot rectangle to die cut some smooth bristol cardstock and inked that up with lucky clover and tumbled glass. The sentiment was stamped in the corner using VersaFine CLAIR Nocturne ink. I then adhered the pumpkin and one leaf that I had left over from last week's card. The hello is from the Slimline Rectangle Window & Words cover plate die set. That was cut from light yellow and white cardstock, adhered together and adhered. I added the panel to the Checkerboard panel and then attached everything to a cardstock base.
