Welcome back! Lisa here! Today I'm sharing another slimline with another of the great new slimline dies along with a few other products from the shop!
I started by cutting that awesome Slimline Signature Polka Dot Cover Plate and adhering it to a 3 1/2 x 8" denim colored piece of cardstock to serve as my base. I stamped, cut and colored the floral images from the Hug In A Mug stamp set. My original intent was to add the sentiment directly to the base, however I also wanted to use that cute patterned paper and it all got lost on the fantastic polka dots so I cut the Minnie Pearl Bookmark from white cardstock to serve as a backdrop for the SENDING part of the sentiment that was cut using the Headline Type Alphabet dies. I also cut the "Love" word from the Slimline Heart Window & Words die three times from white cardsstock and stacked them together.
I layered all of my pieces on my base with varying thicknesses of foam tape and scattered a few sequins around. I also added a pre-made bow from my stash to the end of the bookmark because it felt like the right thing to do...lol!
