follow your heart...

Hey there!  Rosemary here and after a little break I have another slimline card to share.  This one features a row of hearts and a sentiment from the Happy Hearts stamp set.

I recently saw a card with this type of design and decided that I wanted to give it a try.  The card that inspired me was just a row of different colored hearts on the front of a slimline card base.  I decided to step my version up by adding in some layers, patterned paper and the pink/white bakers twine.  I went through my stash of 12x12 papers and found a piece that was soft yellow with a lovely floral pattern.  Using the largest die from the Slimline Essentials set I die cut some of the patterned paper.  I used some soft yellow cardstock to die cut the Slimline Signature Polka Dot panel and adhered that to the patterned paper panel.   I die cut the hearts using the heart die from the Slimline Peace Love & Rainbows set.  I tried to make sure that as I cut the hearts each one had a rose image in it.  I then layered on all the hearts using a tape runner so I would have time to reposition them.   I then wrapped the panel with the pink and white bakers twine and secured it in the back with tape.  I die cut a banner from the soft yellow cardstock using the banner die from the SlimLine Essentials set and then stamped it with the sentiment using VersaFine CLAIR Morning Mist ink.  I adhered the banner and then added the little bow that I tied from additional baker's twine.  Adding this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of anything goes.
