cool yule...

Hello!  Rosemary here today.  Hope your July is going well!  A Jillian Vance Design has released some fun winter/Christmas themed products.  Two of those new products are a die to match the A Cool Friend stamp set and Frosty Friends stamp set.  I used both those products for my card today.

I stamped the snowman using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored him with Copic markers.  I used two markers to create some subtle (very subtle, lol!) coloring on the snowman's body.  I wished it showed up better.  I pulled out some Christmas patterned paper from Carta Bella and then matched up my marker colors to some of the colors in the patterned papers I used.  I always love how Lisa uses the Instant Photo Frame 2.0 set on her cards and decided to use the set for mine.  I die cut the plaid paper with the largest Stitched Dot rectangle die and adhered it to a kraft cardstock base.  I then adhered my snowman and the photo frame.  I used the Holly and Swirls die set to cut my holly leaves and berries.  I die cut the banner from the same red paper used for the berries, stamped it with the sentiment, trimmed it down and then adhered it long with the holly leaves and berries.  Before adding the berries I covered them with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Morning Dew for a little bit of shine.

Very cute card, Rosemary! Love the plaid background, frame & using printed paper for the leaves--wouldn't have thought to do that!
